CJC August Lines

Just for giggles I went back to July '08 15 days off and 88 credit hours
Aug '08 94 hours and 13 days off
Sep '08 94 hours and 12 days off

Eh I miss the money and flying a real airplane.

Those aren't half bad jynxy. Our Saab lines rarely have that kind of credit, that does sound like a nice paycheck indeed. What is your PBS max amount of hours it will build your schedule to?

So next month I work 10 days in a row. You may ask how this is legal but on my 7th day, I have a 30 hour layover in BKW so I get 24 hours off in 7 days. Can I really get the 24 hours off at an outstation? I can't find anything in the contract that disallows this. Anyone know of something I'm missing???

WRONG! You must have days off in domicile. 24 hr+ layovers are perfectly permissible (and awesome since they still trigger the Min Day Credit); however, you must still have at a minimum 1 day off in 7. Your schedule, as you described, does not meet the requirements for this.

pncljcbaquestions@alpa.org and cjcscheduling@alpa.org email one and cc the other and be as specific as possible with your schedule.

You absolutely need to send an email to the addresses above pointing out the schedule they're attempting to assign you....we need as much documentation we can get of contract abrogations.

You're welcome!!! :D

This issue with this is that it's not a FAR issue, it's a contract issue. Crewtrac doesn't catch those.

Definition of a day off is in base. Email cjcscheduling@ALPA.org and we'll forward to planning.

You mean what I volunteer in my own bid or what our default ranges are set to?

I was going to text Ben and let him know about it. I haven't contacted scheduling about it yet either because I wanted to make sure I had grounds to fight it if they said they weren't going to change it.

Send your info to that inbox, we'll forward it to the necessary people.

Dave, I emailed the proper people to have them do what they need to do about your schedule.

I provided above, everything you need to get it corrected. Hell, it even included contract references w/ the exact language.

Please listen to cruise and go through the provided outlets. Documentation is everything. Dont be a typical complainer, give detailed info to the appropriate emails and things can change for the better.

Why would I just complain about it and still fly it? I sure as hell don't want to do that. This isn't the first time scheduling has try to mess with me which is why I have Ben's number saved in my phone. I already called scheduling as well and that British girl said that there wasn't anything wrong with it because it had 24 hours off. When I tried to explain it to her, she said I would just have to wait till tomorrow to talk to crew planning. I've been messed with so much by crew scheduling that I'm starting to think they like to just see what they can try to do to me. (At least, I can't be junior manned anymore.)

Not trying to single u out at all, I meant it in a general sense for everyone. Just sayin people complain all the time but there is LESS than a handful of complaints to the scheduling committee via email.

Looks like at least the IAD lines for Sept. are straight crap, again. Super. Who wants to have time at home anyway?

I see some of the lines have a day or two of R1 on the front end, I thought this couldn't be done anymore? This place sucks.
