Today the guys who hanger their Sovereign in our hangar took the plane out to get current and I got to go along...and what an airplane!! This is not your typical Citation! Granted we were light, but we were off the ground in 2000 feet and at TPA, turning X-wind before we were at the end of the runway. Those P&W engines are amazing...tons of power. I was sitting backwards and everytime we took off if it had not been for the seatbelt, I would have been laying on the guy in the seat across from me. The autopilot has got to be one of the smoothest too. Riding in the back was awesome, I can't imagine what it would be like to be up front!
 
Flown in the Falcon 100 yet?

Yeah, only once. We took it down to Garrett in Augusta to get it worked on last Tuesday. We went to pick it up on Friday and I rode in the Conquest on the way there and back...what a nice airplane!

Some more info I learned about the C680: Max gross takeoff up to 126 degrees F and max gross takeoff in Aspen up to 86 degrees F...amazing!

But I wonder if it will make the 2nd segment, IMC at 86F, out of ASE?

Hey, it had an oversized door and a foldable nacelle- it was asking for it!

Too bad my shortsighted company can't figure out how to crew their airplanes- it spends most of it's time occupying the corner of the hanger. I'll probably never get the chance to slink into the cockpit of it, but I hear it's a sweet plane.
 
This summer I saw quite a few Sovereigns. I absolutely love the aircraft. Especially one that came in often, it had a beautiful tan,black,brown paint job.
