This isn't too far from where I live in Georgia...N7700T, I've seen it before at KGVL...Bright yellow Citation with a Texas flag on the tail...says "Citation 7700 Big Tex"...RIP

The updated article said something about someone commenting that the approach looked very steep. That combined with a 4400 foot runway is probably not a good combination. Steep approaches in the citation, even when on speed, tend to cause you to float like a mofo. But I hate to speculate.
