Citation 500 Series First Officer - Part 135 - Florida

University Air Center is a full service FBO at Gainesville Regional Airport with a successful Part 135 on-demand charter department. UAC currently has 7 Cessna Citations, 2 Eclipse jets, and 1 Cirrus SR-22 on its 135 certificate. The position being offered here is a First Officer position for our Citation fleet which includes a Citation I, II, 2 S-II's, a V, and 2 Ultras. There are also imminent plans to add an additional Ultra and sell the II.

UAC does a wide variety of charter business but primarily serves the medical community providing time critical organ procurement and patient transport medevac flights. Strong piloting skills as well as a commitment to customer service are a must for this position.

Minimum Requirements:
Commercial Multi and Single Engine Land Certificates
CFI
Ability to hold 1st Class Medical
2,000 Total Time
*Must live in Gainesville, FL*

Preferred Requirements:
ATP
Bachelor's Degree
Previous Turbine and/or Air Taxi Experience (Previous CE-500 Experience/SIC type is a plus)
Previous Instructional Experience

We are looking for a specific type of candidate with certain type of aviation and educational background. We want someone who can grow with the company and contribute down the road. There is a lot more to this job than "flying a box."

In the end, those that don't meet the minimum requirements need not apply.

When your posting total time do you consider Military Helicopter time in the total as acceptable hours if all other hours and qualifications are met? I fly a three engine heavy helicopter. Just curious as I plan my transition to the civil sector.

It's a 500 Series Citation; an SIC is required. (There are a handful of 501's and 551's that are technically single pilot but that doesn't apply here.)

Thanks... I didn't know which Citations were and were not single pilot.
