No we are talking about the V Bo's.............Yeah but what about the cirrus?

Just another example of Money>Brains. Most of the trouble with the Cirrus and its safety record has very little to do with the plane itself.Sigh......
You know, the Cirrus really is a capable little plane. Unfortunately, it seems to attract the idiots like moths to a light-bulb.
I've had a trace at about +3, but +10 seems crazy excessive. The FAA stuff says something ridiculous like +10 to -40. I have never seen the slightest trace of ice at +5.
All I can tell ya is that the SR20/22 is the V Tailed Bo of the 21th Century.
How can you tell if you're legitimately not picking anything up vs. the system is keeping everything off? I've flown in "icing conditions" and not seen anything stick to the airplane.
