It would be the Fyre Fest of Delta career arcs.

Do it Doug - we'll be legends!
are the stories true?....not sure, scholars maintain the translations were lost years ago...all we have left are these empty white claw cans and some late night shame posts.

I didn’t realize there was a fuel shortage. Is that why?
Yeah, earlier in this thread…the fuel pipeline into SeaTac was shut down due to a leak. So some international or transcon stuff was making fuel stops and everyone was tankering fuel into SEA.
Well it may be SEA with the fuel shortage. Long haul and some Alaska flights start making fuel stops.

Jet A portion is back up as of yesterday. Last night was fun doing gate deicing in an airplane with no APU that tankered in a • ton of nice cold fuel.

With the weird WX we have had in PHX this month (including a tornado 40ish miles NW of PHX) my vote is on Southwest and America West having a weather meltdown.
I’d say just America West. Idk what kind of premium pay SWA offers or what their reserve coverage is but the PM’ers will still be taking off at 2am sometimes.

Also between the winds in Tempe and the tornado home insurance might not be cheap anymore.

A neat thing about this that I didn’t think about before today is that since everyone is tankering fuel into SEA everyone is getting there with a • ton of cold soaked fuel so everyone is having to deice which as we all know is a well oiled machine in SEA

If you can get out there quick enough to transfer the cold fuel into the center, put the warm fuel in the wings, bingo bango, no deice required. Would recommend.

My money is on Spirit shutting down randomly and screwing employees and passengers mid holiday while giving the "C" level folks a multimillion dollar bonus.

Wouldn't rule it out, especially if the next round of DIP financing isn't provided.
