In my experence, its always my fault.
The holidays are upon us, and with them the creeping doom and gloom they bring. They also bring massive failures in the US air travel system, sometimes legendary ones (looking at you Southwest)... Personally I'd rather bunker-up in the mountains until mid-January, but sadly I was outbid on that decommissioned missile silo, so I'm slogging though it with you all.

We all know whats coming, and with it the near certainty that at least one of the nations airlines (or Air Lines..) is going to strand and abandon multitudes just in time for...The Holidays

Last years winners: American Airlines, American Feeders, due to weather, in the North East...

Changes from last year; I combined Alaska & Hawaiian, and I removed Air Wisconsin from the AA feeders.

So, with that..Who will it be? And where, and why...

Per the implied desires of the Mighty Derg All-Father, wielder of the dreaded BanHammer, I present a poll...

Vote for...
1 Cause/reason
1 Mainline
1 Regional
1 Area most affected

Share with the tribe your wisdom...

Mrs. Plum in the kitchen ... wait ...

Spirit Airlines, lack of crews, in the Southeast, due to over furloughing/excessive resignations.

Hope I lose!

we're both former F9'ers....the stories I hear from my current shop, PALE IN COMPARISON to what I dealt with at F9...
Yep. Some of the loudest complainers haven't worked elsewhere in a long time, or have to friends at other airlines.

if you just act incompetent all year, no one will notice the sh*t show at the end of the year...

modern problems require modern solutions...
Much to appreciate when the airplanes are bright yellow and the seats don't recline.

I commuted on them between SAN and LAS once and a 6 person fight almost broke out at top of climb. I guess acting right for 40 minutes was too much of a challenge for a few people.
I’m curious. What stopped it from crossing the point of no return?

My first DH at Spirit: Woman boards with her phone on speaker while receiving a collect call from her boyfriend in jail and then gets into a 10 minute long screaming match. All on speaker.
