Chrashpad Temperature Wars - AAAHHH!

Use it as an invitation to cuddle Jace! ;)

Eeeeew, not with this male FA.

LOL did my old flight attendant crash pad room mate move in with you? I had this guy in our crash pad that drove us all crazy - in the summer time HATED the AC on. He would turn it off on the hottest of days while everyone screamed, and I had to room with him. They would turn it on in the middle of the night and he knew it, so he would close all the vents in the room. It would get like a sauna in there. We couldnt take it after 3 weeks and finally all had to give him the ultimatum - deal with the AC or leave.

That could be this guy haha. Unfortunately he is in my bunk room. I had the bedroom ceiling fan on low the other day and he shut it off! As a result, I sweat in my nice clean sheets. He told me the next morning how cold it was late at night so he turned up the heater even more. No wonder why I woke up sweaty!

Never lived with a woman, eh?

No. But my mother always like the temp around 68 degrees, so we got a long with the thermostat. :)

psst.....

Not in New York... too cold, although last night I cracked the window open before he cranked up the temp.

Somehow, I doubt the FA's would be bothered. ;)
Well, given that all the FA's here are male, I don't think they would LOL.

I don't know Jace, but you're all assuming the FA is a female. Besides, not all women like it hot in their homes. I prefer it cooler myself especially when I look at the heating bill!
The FA is male.

Jace.... just get some time off and come on down and visit me in the el caribe.... you won't believe what a weekend of warm beaches and cold beer will due for your sanity. Just think.... you could be the only one in your base with a tan without a membership to one of those "fake bake" joints.
I have been planning on going to PR! I will call you when I am gonna know for sure on the date.

I pay the heating bill in my crashpad, so the thermostat stays at 69 degrees in the winter.

It is called wearing sweatshirts and pants to bed.

If you live in the crash pad you're paying the bills as part of your rent right?

So, it shouldn't be the way Jace described.

Geez, not lookin' forward to that crap...

Live in base, live in base...(telling myself that)

69 degrees is not bad at all. However, 69 degrees on the thermostat that probably sits right by the heater usually means pretty darn cold in the rest of the place. I don't mind cold outside at all, I am from the northeast, but inside my place it needs to be warm and cozy in the winter and nice and cool in the summer.

65-68 in the winter and I still sleep in my underwear. They make blankets to keep us warm! Usually 72ish and a ceiling fan in the summer. I can't stand to be hot when I sleep.

I learned to keep the heat at a low temp in the winter when my son was diagnosed with asthma. His doctor said it was very unhealthy and was not good for his breathing.

78 degrees?? Wowa. I realize that some people like it warmer but that's gotta be a classic example of overcorrection.
