Chinook Crazy Skillz

The first part was a standard roll-on landing usually used after a single engine failure. It's also pretty common for the Chinook to taxi on two wheels like that - especially if the power steering is out for some reason.

The second part where they taxied and took off backwards - that was just showing off for the camera. ;)

It's cool how things like that, which I'm assuming might be a kind of standard operating procedure for you guys, impresses us, fixed wing guys. At the same time, the standard operating procedures of the fixed wing guys, like simply flying, impresses some people of the general public.



Either way, I'm impressed by that taxi/back taxi
