Congrats!!

I may have made my last trip up your way. Apparently the reason we used to visit is heading our way now.

Congrats! It is spelled 'pilat'.

Have you decided what two policies you will implement or revoke to demonstrate that both benevolence and absolute tyranny are available to your whims? Maybe call up pilots randomly and say, "Tell me about what happened today."

Congrats sir!

also I'm expecting in about 3 years time the "I'm heading back to the line because F**** that job" post

I've never been in the CP office..just relaying what I've heard..lol

Pylot.

And it’s a list of 5 things they did last week. Make them do that.

Congrats! Being CP has been one of the most challenging, difficult, and rewarding experiences of my life.

You’ll get to frame policy and have a real impact on the lives of the pilots you work for. You’re not their boss, you’re their coach. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the individual personalities you will encounter.

Also, never assume a bureaucrat is an expert…Especially if they’re associated with EASA.

Two of the duties include fussing at pilots and hearing pilots complain about everything. Shout out to you for doing it!

I was offered CP once. Initially excited, after cognition and time, wisely turned it down. At least in that house, no one lasted (except one great one) more than a couple/ few years. Poo always runs down hill, and it seemed CP was at the bottom of the valley. FAA, Management, Pilots, Scheduling. It is a very demanding job, and very few excel’d at it. If you’re one of the few who can, congrats!
