Limitless Consulting LLC New Castle, Delaware:<BR /><div>On behalf of our client, an aviation leader with established FAA Part 135 & Part 145 operations, we are recruiting a Chief Pilot to be based at their New Castle, DE location to assist the Director of Operations in managing the day to day activities of their crewing team.</div><div> </div><div><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> </div><ul><li>Report to the Director of Operations and act on behalf of the Director of Operations in his/her absence</li><li>Maintain proficiency as PIC in Falcon 50/900/2000, Gulfstream IV, or Lear 45 and fly as required</li><li>Interview pilot candidates, make hiring recommendations, and conduct annual pilot performance reviews</li><li>Supervise flight crew personnel, serve as point of contact for questions, and mentor and develop the pilot team</li><li>Schedule pilot training efficiently in order to minimize schedule disruptions</li><li>Assist Crew Scheduler in creating rotation schedules, approving vacation time and schedule requests ensuring the fleet has appropriate pilot coverage</li><li>Advise the Director of Training regarding training of flight crew personnel</li><li>Establish and maintain records as required by the Federal Aviation Regulations, training vendors, and company policies and monitor the maintaining of these records</li><li>Manage the preparation and maintenance of proficiency records, pilot files, flight schedules, reports, and correspondence pertaining to flight operations activities</li><li>Perform an active role in the Company’s Safety Management System</li><li>Communicate as appropriate with regulatory authorities regarding issues related to the safety and quality of the Company</li><li>Process and take action on accident, incident, and/or flight crew reports</li><li>Develop, implement, and review the standard operating procedures</li><li>Identify deficiencies, then develop, implement, and verify preventative and corrective measures</li><li>Liaise with other department heads to resolve issues and increase operational efficiencies</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul>
