On the 200 the gear is an amazing tool. Especially since you can’t use the flaps above 8 knots.

I referred to them as the redneck speed brakes

(There was one gear disagree where they implicitly blamed the crew for popping the wheels before getting any notch of flaps out because pump 3B. Of course, if this was an actual limitation, it would be...a limitation, you know.)
