Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card and Priotity Pass card

Amex platinum card is definitely worth it if you travel a lot. Hell, it is a better deal than a Skylub membership, even if you just use it for that.

Amex points are probably the most useful of any, as you can use them on amazon, any airline or hotel, etc.
Ended up picking it up. They sent me a second 100K offer and since I'm going to Singapore next year those miles will help! Checking out the Centurion lounge in Seattle tomorrow!

Just be aware that the Centurion in Seattle has no kitchen, so it's cold food only. The new bar is, however, excellent. I recommend testing all the cocktails.

One way US-Singapore in First Suites runs 118k miles. Do eeeeet!

Sweet thanks for the info! Flying the widget so might jump over to that new lounge they have at the B concourse? Was there in December and it was incredible!

So I’m debating between the two and leaning towards AMEX. Big thing for me though, I’m a mil reservist and Chase waives card fees as long as I do my two weeks per year. Anybody know if AMEX does the same? CSR might be the winner just for that.

Imo the only reason to get the Amex platty is if you have a centurion lounge in your home(or frequently visited) airport. Its just not that good of a card otherwise.

It's a card you get for the benefits. I put airline charges on it for the 5x bonus, but the Everyday Preferred gets 1.5x on everyday purchases, so it's a good complement.

yeah thats true, I'm not a huge spender but 5x is nice. I get 3x on the sapphire reserve though so thats good enough for me

Im literally about to land and try this. I feel like Priority Pass is really going to regret making this available in my hometown airport.

I really like salmon and key lime pie.
Just don’t ruin it for us

So, been coming here for a while. Pretty regularly, but with discretion because i didnt want to ruin it for everyone.

Got to chat with one of the managers today, who said they could really care less how often flight crews come here. Some flight crews and mechanics claim their free meal daily they say!

There is no "ruining" at this one installation apparently, but according to the posts on the Sapphire Reserved FB group other lounges are turning PP members away and CSR will no longer allow unlimited guests or certain price match guarantees. Bummer
