Sounds like a cheap DIY project. Are we gonna get extra cash on our U-Cards for this? Something tells me our paper usage is significantly higher than the average undergrad...As of the last email I got, CFIs are exempt but students aren't allowed to print except from the flight planning room computers...and have to pay for their printing. Solution: keep a dry-erase TOLD card in the aircraft book, fill in the data from AIMS on it. Problem solved. Of course, UND Aerospace will never do it.

I had a meeting with a lead instructor about the whole TOLD card situation. They want to physically see the card in the plane mainly for the takeoff briefing. I have an app on my phone that does W/B and I asked if a student has access to it, could we just use that. Answer was nope.
On a side note the whole reason why all this is happening is because some people are printing +100 pages a day anywhere in the Aerospace complex from Ryan Hall to the airport
Aaaaaaaand...Leo's just suspended the print controls at the airport...
What's the deal? How do they expect us to print a new weight and balance before each flight with $8.00 on our U-Card. I have other classes I need to print stuff off for with that $8.
When I went out to the airport today for my lesson, I was told and shown that printer is no longer being charged for. I believe management quickly realized how much it would cost stage check students who need to print out soooooo much before each check.
