Change of pace....

After a "fun-filled" summer caring for 2 and 3 year-olds, I'll be returning to being an Administrative Assistant at the community organization I work for. Same money, less stress! Although I'll probably be bored when nothing's going on in the office.

I'm still holding out hope that North American will get some additional flying and start the FA class I'm slated for. :)
Good thoughts, good thoughts, good thoughts....;)

Yeah. You and hundreds of soldiers in a confined space for hours and hours.

So much for subtlety, eh? ;)

What, have you never worked in an office before? It'll be exactly the same as working with 3 year olds :D

You're adorable, Charlie----really, you are! :insane:

5 years of 'Office Space' here and I couldn't agree more with the above.

Ha! I worked as an Administrative Asst. on the executive floor for a top corporation in Manhattan for 14 years. Talk about spoiled brats! :D

North American out of JFK? You'll be gone a week at a time! Good company if you don't mind those occasional trip though!

Yes sir--JFK! I know all about their schedules and it's fine by me! Now if they'd only get some more flying.....:(

It still amazes me that they had 6 open houses back in March, each attended by about 60 people and they said they needed at least 1, possible 2 FA classes to take up the slack. Within a month, I got the letter saying the class had been postponed indefinitely. The economy REALLY hit their charter business hard, I guess.

Good luck with the new job :)

And NAA will get around to new classes eventually! Seems like an eternity though, doesn't it...

There is a large airplane operator that will be hiring FAs.

I think the first rounds are EOS. However, I'd expect in 24 months, after DOD approval, there will be a couple "all Coach" AMC specials added.

Just a guess.
