CFII in KLGB tomorrow

Anyone on here take their CFII with Reed N. here in the longbeach area?

He gave me his gouge,but still looking for direct experience.

I had a buddy get his II with him awhile back and said he was straight forward and fair. I didnt really dive into it with him since he passed. If I had more time and it wasnt so late I would have called him for you to see what he could remember. Best of luck, kick ass and let us know how it goes.
 
He's very particular on paperwork, so make sure that's all in order.

Follow the gouge and you'll be fine. Don't stress if you don't answer every question right on the oral, some of them he asks more to make a point to you as an instructor.

I did my II with him. Be VERY professional on the radio. No "thanks for your help" crap to the controllers. He didn't like that. Know your stuff. He's a fair man! To me at least.
 
Good to hear, didn't want to say anything before but I had heard he was busting everyone on the II lately.
