Yeh Pat Connell is still there doing academy ground school for CFI. Great guy.
Am starting to network and give advice to others, so think I'm slowly becoming an instructor. basic advice is to put in the hours on the ground studying and revising, and the airwork will take care of itself.
Will total up the hours and spend shortly and see how I did vs the quote.

Thanks Man, I hit the quote pretty much on the nose.
They said 20 hours dual 172 / 4 hours solo for checkride / 10 hours sim / 25 hours ground for CFII/CFIA ($9285) and then 8 hours dual C-310 and 8 hours ground for MEI ($4640).
Only went into negatives yesterday so am paid up to today now with only the checkride to do Tuesday. They are offering me a local ride but I don't know the DPE. I still plan on Winter Haven with a known DPE, so hopefully the planning won't change too much tomorrow.

Day 28 0930-1800
More Multiengine planning for checkride, it got moved to wednesday, but is local which is cheaper. A new CFI student started who works for Airbus and my instructor asked me to show him my lesson plans and give advice, so am gonna take a look at their miami springs location tomorrow.

Day 29 0800-1400
Am extra day before checkride so I polished the lesson plans and added my work to google drive. I travelled over to Airbus Miami and it is an impressive facility, A340 sim was fun to look around. Just gonna get some sleep, glad it is a 10am tomorrow.
