CFI Pay

In a couple months, you will be working at a company that pays reduced (as if they weren't reduced enough already!) rates during training, provides no housing during training, started an alter-ego company with the intention of busting the ALPA union at TSA, and offers one of the lowest payrates and QOL in the US for the type of equipment and yet you call your fellow CFI's suckers?

LOL.

Considering it will essentially double my income, yes. Purdue:CFIing as Lakes:Regionals. TSA ain't quite the lowest rung in this equation. Unlike the Purdue kids, however, I know what I'm getting into before I get into it.

Nice flightinfo style post though.

Kinda makes you want to read Greg Browns book and work for yourself, thats where the real money is. Oh, and there are plenty of more rural areas that are dying for an instructor.

When i was at oshkosh i went to his seminar in the pavillion and got my book signed (geeky on my part i know). Its a good book, but only if you use his info! I still gotta get those picturized business cards made up.
