Do you identify them in some way as not counting for currency (or identify the ones that do count) or are they all mixed in? Remember, it may be "your" logbook but it is also an official record and there is a potential for it to be misread by the FAA, especially if it is looking for an extra violation to tack on.

No, I just make a seperate entry for the times I fly 3 TNG every 90 days for pax currency. That also applies to night currency as well.
 
Speaking of currency.....if you are a newly minted AMEL pilot, I am assuming you'd have to fly a twin every 90 days to satisfy the pax currency?

61.57(a)(1)(ii) for day & 61.57(b)(1)(ii) for night...must be done in each category, class and type (if a type rating is required).
