CFI jobs in TX or AZ?

Greetings All,

I am going to be a newly minted CFI here pretty soon, and am interested in moving to TX or AZ. I really would like to get as much info as possible on what the hiring propects are like in these areas in Jan. thru Apr. In TX, I am really focused on the Dallas / Ft. Worth area, but I am flexible. I have no real preferences for AZ. Is there much turn over or hiring in these areas Jan. thru Apr? If so, where should I start?

Are there any schools that I should stay clear of?

Try Skymates in Arlington, TX (GKY). I think they have an ad on this website. I trained at ATP in Arlington and we always went to Skymates to buy supplies. They are a great group of people. Good luck.

Lots of pilots in AZ ... which is goodand bad. Good in that tere are a lot of people that want/do extra training, BFRs (a CFI's worst nightmare) and flying in general. The bad part is that there are also a lot of CFIs around here ...
