CFI Interview with Flight Safety

Anyone currently working there as an instructor or know anyone who's been through the hiring process? I just got an email inviting me to standardization class. Would be great if I could get some pointers on how FSA wants things done and what they're looking for during the interview process

The part-time position is what gets me. Max 35 hrs and maybe half of that is flight time... Do things get better when you turn full-time?

I completed most of my training at FSA and will be in the June 12th stands class. From what I've heard, stands lasts 2-3 weeks, there is a 100 question exam the first day covering basic instrument knowledge, FOI, regs, etc. at the end you will fly with the director of standardization and go over almost all private/commercial maneuvers. They emphasize doing the maneuvers and procedures their way so you'll need to know the checklists and FSA regs inside and out.

You're talking about FlightSafety Academy, the 141 school as opposed to FlightSafety, the 142 school. It's a small point, but it would be good to know that "FlightSafety" is all one word in their name. If you write then a follow-up letter, it will make a better impression if you don't put a space in the middle.

So it has been a few months and I joined just to hear some feedback, is what is the FSA stands like?
