By the way, I had Black for my commercial a few weeks back and he was awesome. I hope I'll get him for my CFI

Yup, just as a few of u speculated, wx is bad in south fl so my check ride was moved to Saturday.. What a bummer, I'm so ready right now! O well, now i get a few more days to study

Hey man I'm not trying to scare you off and if I knew the guy and had some advice on him I'd help you out. I think what everyone was trying to tell you though is that its very unwise to come om here with your full name and say something like I heard so and so is an a hole after calling him out by name. You wouldn't walk into the FBO where he might be and blurt that out would you? Or say that to his face? Just saying be careful about things like that... its a small world.

I had Pinkston for my CFII initial, thought he was great. I choose to use him for my add-on too, and again thought the same.

Still waiting to leave, stuck in atl.. Fly out at noon tomorrow for ft lauderdale, check ride Sunday morning at 9am! So ready for this to be behind me!!

Jared, Just remember to celebrate when its all over. I remember getting back to LZU when we passed our checkrides. We were the first two to go, and both of us passed. The rest of the guys in our class were waiting for their rides still. They asked us questions all afternoon and into the night while my flying partner and I proceeded to get smashed. I remember going into Hooters, I remember the Hooters, but I don't remember leaving. Come Sunday night I am sure you'll be doing a similar celebration.

Haha, that hooters kinda sucks now, those girls there are the bitchiest hooters girls ever! But the "tilted kilt" at lzu is a lotta fun! I'm gonna try to stay here tomorrow night and I'm gonna get retarded if I pass, hell I prolly will either way haha.. I'm here at the hotel studying, shakin in my shorts! Just ironed my clothes, which I never do, and I'm gonna take the late evening off for dinner and early to bed! Wish me luck, I'm so nervous!

Good luck. I always found the hardest part about any checkride was the night before, and the morning of. You should do fine.

Hey guys, I aced it, thanks so much for the help and concerns!! It's been an awesome day! I've been drinking since about 4.. Feelin pretty awesome! Such a huge weight is lifted! Bill blaugher wasn't the monster everyone I initially spoke with said he was,however, in the plane his character did change.. He was congenial as he could be in the classroom and the oral went really smooth, but we got in the plane and the whole day changed.. He hollered at me quite a bit about little procedures that ATP teaches he kept saying "don't drink the Kool aid!!" haha, but otherwise it went well!!

Congrats! Don't go disappearing on us, I'm doing my CFI there late November and could use some advice.
