CFI in Louisburg, NC

The flight school I work for is looking for a CFI. Pay is $20/hr for flight or ground. If interested PM me.

The student base is horrible at Franklin Co. and the flight school has almost gone bankrupt like 20 times.... go to RDU---www.flightgest.com

Decent operation, ton of students, and good pay for a CFI gig!

Yeah go to flightgest and pay $180/hr for a C172:sarcasm:

The flight school at Franklin Co is now under new management.

Maybe the new management will be able to turn things around. It is fair to say that Franklin Co has had many problems over the years and a new CFI should know about that. I have heard by a few different students that the school has gotten better.

As for FlightGest rates, even our most expensive 2006 172's rent for $135/hr wet and you get to admire the cute Southernjet girl.:)

Yep, she's smoking hot. I've gotten her twice, and both times, I could honestly say I was not looking at her hand signals. Someone needs to get her up on fbohotties.com

Well I was referring to there dual rates, they charge about $40/hr for instruction on top of the $135/hr for wet rates. Thats pretty expensive in my book. I admit she is hot but not that hot. When she first started working there, she wore a lot of seductive clothes, but then one day i was in there and she was all spiff'd up, guess they put the smackdown on her dress code. too bad, lol.

And you would know how horrible the student base is because? youre out there busting your arse everyday like me right? I've got so many students I'm having to turn them away, thats why we need more instructors

Nope not a smackdown, a promotion. She got moved to the head of the line crew.

Our instructors arn't $40/hour, but $48/hour. It is high, but the planes are all new, taken care of very well, and can be trusted in hard IMC. Not that LHZ's planes arn't in good shape, but they arn't as new and expensive. Plus have you seen the southern jet weekend girl? WOW! Good luck with the school. Hope it continues to grow. It is a good option for anybody who doesn't have a lot of money to spend.

Wow dude... all you did is tell people about a job opening at your flight school and you got jumped on???? I know your school I take my students up to LHZ a lot and I hear the same.... more students then the school can handle!
Sounds like olde flightgest is hard up for students.....:sarcasm:

Good luck

Edit....pointless post.... keep up the good work at LHZ and enjoy sitting around this summer when your old students migrate to RDU like they do EVERY YEAR.

It almost sounds like CaptChris is slamming me, as if I suck as an instructor so all the students are gonna leave me and head over to FlightGest so they can fly with them, since they are the Gods of aviation, lol. I think CaptChris just wants something else to complain about, if he isn't complaining about Ramair its something else.

I actually used to do my flight training at flightgest, but when I went up with there instructors to learn lazy eights/chandelles and the instructor couldnt teach them too me because he said "Im rusty" I felt cheated. There excuse was that they mostly train private and instrument students. So, to be fair I gave them another try, but after 2 or 3 lessons at the then rate of $160/hr. I took off, because thats ridiculous to pay for something you dont get. I feel that if an instructor is "Rusty" on maneuvers then they need to do something about it, go up and practice them instead of continuing to take a students cash with no benefit.

Im not saying I wouldnt go back there and rent there aircraft, or fly with them, because they do have nice aircraft. But I dont think that there instruction is above and beyond. Maybe chris is partial to them since he was given the ever popular designation as the "Chief flight instructor" and feels loyal. I dont know. But I do think its a little inappropriate for him to be judging something he knows nothing about. I know Frank has a cessna caravan and who knows what else he uses for charter. If it was so great, looks like an instructor would have stayed there and got some charter time instead of running across the ramp to ramair. Just a thought.
