CFI Database

So I'm working this thought out about a business, and while it gets complicated, a portion of the business would involve CFI's.

What I was thinking is making a database of CFI's throughout the country (possibly world) that are available for instruction in the CFI's area. Before I explain the business thought, what I would want to do is make a form that CFI's fill out, just asks for basic things such as:

-name, location, CFI type (MEI,CFII, etc), Expiration date (not number because of privacy), endorsements they can give, and maybe like 2-3 questions to try to match their personality with a client.

All I would need is the above and contact info. I was thinking about going to OSH and asking for CFI's cards, possibly even talking to NAFI/ SAFE. Work isn't guaranteed, but the pay goes right to the CFI, not me.

I'm not asking for your info, but would you feel comfortable giving out the basic info like that and having it in a database that could possibly get you work?

What you will find is that CFI come and go so often that your database would be become outdated fast. There are different websites now that allow CFIs to post that kind of information for potential students who are doing a google search to find. The reality is the good career CFIs stay busy by word of mouth and their own advertising with their own website that they probably won't be interested and the time builders aren't around long enough to make it worth while

as stated, this has already been done with varying amounts of success for the CFIs involved in the database.
