Hello JC Family,

Wanted to make the announcement that I've crossed over the threshold of PAYING to fly to getting PAID to fly! I'm officially a CFI!

I WAY over prepared for the checkride and because of this, the oral and practical portion went much smoother that I anticipated. Still a tough ride none the less.

Currently looking for a full time CFI job in Western Michigan. Getting that cover letter and resume polished up!

Cheers!

Awesome news. Just wait until you start teaching, then the fun begins. It was a huge learning curve starting out. At least it was for me. Very enjoyable and very frustrating at times.

If you're ever in Phx give me a shout.

Congrats. Now it is time to actually learn. I am 200 hours dual given into my CFI career and have learned so much since the checkride.

Congrats, and @uncreative any free time that you get use it to study especially if FOI isn't your thing, and acronyms are your friend when it comes to remembering things. Also if you can get your MEI early if your wallet allows it, last week I hit my 1yr mark working as a flight instructor and I've racked about 200hrs of multi.

Congrats! Now the fun begins. Keep your eyes open and feet on the rudders... Students will teach you more than you ever learned in CFI school. They'll get you heard pounding a few times too! Great Job!

Cool man congrats!! I got mine recently, and have about 60 hours of dual given since January, and I've already learned a ton. You'll have fun with it!
