CFI Business Websites

Yes, that is true but that's more owning a site than leasing isn't it? I guess leasing just sounds like it would be kind of expensive.
It doesn't have to be too expensive...it's really more of a time vs materials type thing and the expense can actually be divvied up using different methods too like comp sales vs a monthly amount.

i maintained mine for about 4 years. It was about 5 main pages, with 15 other more in-depth pages and hundreds of links to resources. I poured many hours into it and it was a very well received site. It, on average had 5,000 hits per month.

From that I generated exactly 0 leads and new students....

I had the opposite effect... 4 years of teaching, two websites, once basic HTML - one Content Management Site... Joomla. (would still be up, but once I was at the airlines my Joomla based site was hacked by idiots from the middle east...)

I didn't get near as many hits, but I did local targeted advertising with Google - capped at $35 per month. I also offered 'gift certificate' packages - and would tailor the ads to point to the gift certificate pages during the holidays and 'dads and grads' time. (I think I raised it to $50/month then...) One year I sold over $3000 in gift certificates - where my 'net' was about 2/3rds of the income as the plane rental for one of them was only about $100. And I never hit my $35 cap on Google Advertising.

I would say that over 80% of my students come from people finding my site. It worked for me.
