Hey, great idea. Here's a couple of links for those interested.

Here's an interesting article I found in my research that had the following quote: "snitching on a tax cheat could make you rich."

It seems the IRS will pay rewards for info when tax fraud is reported.
 
I'm busy doing things with a slightly higher priority. But, trust me, I will. You should too if your a true American...

You are questioning my patriotism? Funny coming from a civilian.

If the largest flight school in the nation has been committing tax fraud for 26 years, then I blame the government. When you are done with your higher priority things and feel like being a patriot yourself, let me know how it goes.
 
I can't believe this thread went from me asking about cfi school to tax issues. I sure have a knack for causing spirited discussions...no wonder my wife always grounds me lol

I dunno about you but when I talk to my friends we stick to one topic and one topic only. If someone wants to bring up another topic they have to leave the room first, and then come back ;)

I will, and thank you for your service. My service was paying 61K last year in federal income tax without trying to milk the system. And as far as being a patriot, I think paying my 25+ percent a year to the system without playing games qualifies. But to each his own. One can say ATP does what it does and has not been challenged as a final solution. That's fine. But nobody has yet explained to me the dichotomy in the two quotes I mentioned above. It's a simple thing. The two statements oppose each other. They oppose each other to the extreme. But that would just be my opinion.

Still working on that IRS whistle blower form. Will let you know.
 
Mind not sending it in until I get back? I don't want all this studying to be pointless.

I actually did this before I bit the bullet and went for the full smash. They wont do it because the discount would only be a few hundred dollars, not worth it for them, not worth it for the student.
 
Checked in today, the apartment really isn't too bad. Lack of internet is kinda the pits though, ill have to tether to my phone.

Scheduled for a flight at 5:30 tomorrow... ground from 9 to 6... commence firehose ;)

It was actually the first day of class, I guess the class is so many people it was necessary. It certainly wasn't what I had expected, but it wasn't terrible. I mean, we survived and all.

I'm at VGT.
