Broward Community College (BCC) is a large urban institution with three main campus locations and five centers, serving approximately 60,000 credit/non-credit students annually. Located in southeast Florida, BCC was founded in 1959 as the first public higher education institution in the county and still functions as the principal provider of undergraduate higher education for the residents of Broward County. Through a wide variety of degree/certificate programs and continuing education courses, the College attracts a great diversity of students, including individuals planning to receive their Associate’s degree, transfer for a Bachelor’s degree, acquire new job skills, and those seeking education for personal enrichment. In addition, the College is also a source of cultural enrichment, a resource for community development, business, and industry, and an avenue for continued skill upgrading and retraining.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Aviation and current FAA certification as a Certified Flight Instructor to include instrument and multi-engine instructor, Airline Transport Pilot certificate and related industry experience are required. A Master's degree in Aviation or a Master's with 18 graduate semester hours in aviation preferred.
Applicants with more than five years fulltime related industry experience and college teaching are desired.
