CFI-A intial with Ft. Worth FSDO

New to forum and I am glad I found it. Got my commerical not long ago and I have my date set for my Cfi check. I have been assigned Jim Reynolds and most people I talk to have never heard of him. Anyone here to chime in?

I do not think I know Jim Reynolds but Chuck Dawson is a good guy if you can get him.

So far so good!
We got a lot of the oral portion. By the time he said let's go fly, we looked at the weather and it was looking kinda messy around. By that time it was 3 o'clock and 95 degrees out. I was exhausted so I asked for a letter of disc., packed up my stuff and flew back to denton.
So today we are gonna try to head out around two... Wish me luck!
 
Didn't end up happening... Marginal all day until 4 and by then he didn't want to start that late. Trying again tomorrow but it doesn't look so hot... :-(
 
Same exact thing today. Waited in marginal conditions all day. Didn't clear up until around 3:30 and again he didn't want to start that late. Looks like Friday the earliest because the plane is on a Cfi check all day tomorrow... :dunno:

Kinda getting ancy...
 
Congrats! I work with AFW FSDO a lot but haven't heard of your examiner. How was he? Either way NICE JOB!
