Do you take checks?

Or one could go buy 4 152's for the same price.

152's? Heck for that much you could buy a pretty darn nice used Bonanza, fuel for a long time, and have enough money left over to pay off your DME to get a 3rd Class so you dont even need to worry about those silly little LSA ultralights... :)

I have here a check made out to you for 140,000 dollars, in a certified bank. I will send an agent for shipping to my home country, and could you please send the remainder of the balance back to me?

Deal!

Thanks so much for your patronage!

You know, I was in the "I hate the Skycatcher because it's ______" group, but after flying one, it's really a nice little airplane. A little lacking in the useful load department, but the new propeller should help that some. All in all, it's going to end up being one of, if not the most supported LSA on the market.

its interesting to hear all these people knock the SkyCatcher. Until you actually fly one ya'll have no idea. This will turn the 150/152s into dinosaurs.

Oh I'm sure it's a kick in the pants to fly and all that, but is it really worth that much compared to other comparable aircraft?

If you run a flight school, it may make some sense to buy a new trainer, fly it while it's still under warranty, then sell it off right as / slightly before the warranty expires. The benefit is that your MX costs go way down...especially in a training environment that is hard on airplanes. The challenge is that you constanly have to find buyers for the trainers you're trying to unload. Welcome to the OP's problem.

THis is a very true statement. On top of that I would never buy a flightschool aircraft, no telling what they have been through...
