Conduct Primary and Advanced airplane flight and ground training to prepare student and rated student pilots to successfully complete certification for Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating. Training will be conducted in accordance with the Kachemak Bay Flight Service(KBFS) training ciricullum and to the standards outlined in the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) Practical Test Standards. Must be proficient or capable of gaining and maintaining instructor proficiency in various flight training aircraft operated by KBFS .
Must be able to develop and execute tailored flight and classroom training sessions in accordance with the standards outlined in the FAA Flight Instructor Handbook. Will make recommendations for students to conduct solo flight, cross-country flight and to receive certification practical tests.
