Cerebellar Hemangioblastoma

I have been flying with a special issuance third class medical these the past 5 years. I was diagnosed with a cerebellar hemangioblastoma 6 years ago, and since its initial discovery the tumor it has been completely stable. This week I went in for my annual checkup and the MRI scans showed that although the tumor is the same size, there has been some slight cystic development at the base of the tumor. My neurological assessment continues to be normal and my treating specialist told me to keep a close eye on a symptoms, but still calling my current condition "stable". The current treatment plan is to return in a year for a follow up MRI scan.

Will this be the end of my special issuance? If so, what would the FAA require for me to get back in the air?

Thanks so much for your invaluable help on this forum.
