How do you guys teach this distance limit on landings? For the PTS , and for student solo practice?

I use the approach end of the precision runway aim point markers. If students can consistently be mains "in the paint," then they're ready.

That's what my instructors always did, and what I did when I instructed. With most students there was enough going on without counting stripes.
