CC of Beaver County Flight Training (Moore Aviation/AcesBVI)

I'm going back to school at the Community College of Beaver County near Pittsburgh due to their heavily subsidized flight instruction. There's two flight schools they contract their flight training to, Moore Aviation and AcesBVI. Does anyone have any experience with either? Any recommendations? I've checked out both schools and was relatively impressed, just trying to make a decision...

Re: CC of Beaver County Flight Training (Moore Aviation/Aces

I finished my PPL during the summer of 2008 with Moore Aviation out at BVI. I chose to finish up at Moore Aviation because the instruction was was top notch. Granted, I knew my CFI there personally, he was a friend of several years, but I flew with a few other instructors back then and they were all pretty sharp and goal oriented. I'd definitely recommend Moore Aviation again along with the program at CCBC. Feel free to PM me with any questions or if you wanna grab an adult beverage in the burgh!

*Edit: Though I have never flown at Aces Aviation at BVI, I know the chief instructor there VERY well and he is without a doubt the sharpest pilot I have flown with to date. As the chief pilot I'm sure he dealt with all of the instructors and made sure they were all very good as well, so I would definitely look into Aces also. Not a bad decision to have, 2 pretty good flight schools at one small airport.

Let me know your decision!

Thanks guys! :) Stepped away from the computer for a few days, so I didn't see the posts. I'm leaning towards ACES, but I have a few days to decide yet.
