CASS Reciprocal Agreements

Hi all,

Just stepped up as jumpseat coordinator for a well established 135 company which is getting enrolled in CASS, wondering if any of you guys/gals can perhaps put me in touch with your jumpseat coordinator(s) to try to get some mutual agreements going. Unlike most 135s, my company has scheduled runs all across the country on our G4 fleet which we plan to allow jumpseaters on as well as our empty legs for the rest of our fleet, so the agreement would actually be reciprocated unlike most 135s. Feel free to PM me any info/help is appreciated. Used to work at another 135 with a handful of agreements without reciprocation so know it is possible.

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks I'll email ALPA. Have also gotten some info via PMs, still would prefer direct contact w airline reps if anyone has their reps' emails, as I think that'll be a bit more efficient. Thanks for the help though, appreciate it a lot.

The advantage of getting on the ALPA list is that everyone is then aware of it and can look for the availability of your airplanes.
Don't worry about being non union/ALPA. The list includes non ALPA carriers such as SouthWest.

Am I reading this right? Cargo in a GIV?

Yeah they're like private jet shares like uber pool, full of people who don't usually know eachother if that makes sense. I think the GIV is still too new to be a cargo bird, but they're getting cheap now wouldn't be surprised if the freight companies got to it eventually :)

Duh. Don't know where I pulled cargo out of that. I could get used to commuting on an empty GIV. PM me if you need the contact at American.

AAPalmTree, tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me for some reason, any chance you can send me a PM so I can get you some info? Thanks :)

How realistic is it for an op like this to be able to reciprocate? Is it scheduled?

Yeah they are scheduled runs working on updating our Ops Manual to allow OAL Jumpseaters and then have to get schedule published online to make it easier. Right now I have a PDF to start with
