No news yet, just a comment:

This is a cargo plane that rolled into the terminal at Helsinki-Vantaa airport in Finland today. Maintenance personell were going to move the plane when it started rolling. No-one was hurt except the poor plane.

"I GOT NO BRAKES!!!! I GOT NO BRAKES!!!!!!"
Fine, we'll bring this back then:

  • Looks like mx tried to run the 737 over square.
  • Good news, on the ground those winglets help their steering stability, to go right into the hangar.
  • Speaking of hangar, this mx taxi had a flight plan of into the hangar and through the walls, to grandmothers discount MRO.
  • I bet you the Terrain Terrain alarm went off.
  • They should have used the spoilers, obviously.
  • The reversers are stowed, didn't try hard enough.
  • Why aren't the slides deployed? Would have been the right time to test them.
  • They obviously were testing the flaps too, hence when they pulled them up, the brakes failed. That's why you never take out your flaps on taxiing!

I'd hate to break away from the conversation and interject logic ( that's a pun whoever gets it receives extra nerd points).

The E170/190 will possibly lose braking ability if you shutdown an engine and start the APU right away. The MAU gets confused on which system to pull electrical power from, throws a 2 year old type tantrum and says fine, "If I can't have electrics, you can't have hydraulics!"
The outer brakes are on one hydraulic system and the inners are on another. You lose both.
