Apparently it crashed into multiple homes, with dozens of fatalities.

Looking at a news source there with google translate:

Any intel on the operator yet? In addition to the JC Atlas crew I've got a college buddy flying whales for Connie.
 
747-400F ex-Singapore Airlines Cargo.

This was ACT Airlines aka MyCargo Airlines operating on behalf of Turkish as Turkish Airlines flight 6491.


(Latest info at least so far)

Interesting.

I was just wondering about the reported crew complement of 4, and whether that meant 2 pilots and 2 loadmasters; or 2 pilots, an FE, and a load possibly.

Could be any mix of that depending on their work rules and whatever they were carrying.

May or may not apply to this flight but our crew complement is based on the following:
<8 hours 2 Pilots
>8 <12 3 Pilots
>12 4 pilots.
We carry Loadmasters occasionally if it's a charter and there are no station reps at the operating airports and we carry wrenches for the same reasons.
 
Interesting one person initially survived only to die later. I often thought the ups cfit a few years back looked survivable and the airplane was far more intact than this one.
