They can require you to pay for a business permit and provide proof of insurance of a certain amount. So if you don't want to comply with that, then yes they can stop you.
CFI liability insurance is actually pretty cheap through AOPA or NAFI. NAFI's is better IMO because they cover you in single and multi where AOPA only covers single engine.
 
What i would tell someone who keeps there airplane at a field like that is meet me over here at XYZ. Where I live there is a ton of airports close that a client could meet me at. Plus if i was an airplane owner I would tell the airport to f... off I will hire who I please.
 
Well how realistic is being a career flight instructor with benefits and retirement and all of that? Maybe I could get on at a college. On the other hand I don't plan on being single forever. Plenty of time to explore a career in corporate or commercial aviation.
