I drive an 04 Cavalier. Nuff said. It's resale value is non existant and I do get recall notices in the mail every 3-5 months!

That being said the car runs great and never had a problem...yet.

Max, you are comparing a C class which is the lower end model of mercedes to a 6 series BMW which sells from 80-over 100K......I dont think its a fair comparison......I myself am not a fan of the C class..... check out the mercedes interior with an MFD (multifunction display) intigrated in the speedometer, it has a trip computer, you can change radio stations via steering wheel, check climate, next service date and milage, adjust settings, check your radar guided cruise control on there, make phone calls, check fuel consumption and range with current fuel consumption, and a lot of other functions. also lit up with a nice cool azure blue background. (bad camera)

Eh...all Mercedes cars pretty much look the same. They look very boxy and antiquated. With the clear exception of the new S550 flagship & SLK McLaren coupe.

If Mercedes continues to make less stodgy looking cars I might maybe change my mind!

Ugg, where's the throw up smiley. :) Bangle designs are a love/hate thing. Maybe someday they'll grow on me. I guess it's not so much the exterior design as it is with how much these dang things weigh now. In my opinion, BMW has always made the best overall package in comfort and performance. They're slipping in performance real bad.

All car companies are slipping in performance while trading for more luxurious interiors...and along with that size and weight. I hate this too. But, that's what the market wants so they'll get it.

This is true, but it's more apparent with BMW because they used to offer such a perfect combination of both.
