I had to actually legally certify my left seat stuff for the type-rating this evening which included visual approaches (no electronic or VASI guidance), taxi procedures, rejected takeoffs and such, and nonetheless it was still a lot of fun!
It felt very natural!
A little like writing with your left hand (if you're a righty) but fun! It was kind of nice during the rejected takeoff barking at the FO: "Tell the passengers to remain seated, pull out the ODM and see what our brake cooling time is."
