Description: Wiggins Airways, Inc. seeks an experienced Captain of C208 aircraft for a floater (utility) cargo pilot position based in Manchester, NH. Schedule is generally Monday – Friday. We seek a professional, safe and customer centric aviator with single pilot, FAR 135 winter operations flight experience. The principal duties of this position are performed in Company aircraft with exposure to various airport hangar and ramp environments. The principal function of the Captain is to pilot Company aircraft in a professional, safe and timely manner in order to help the department achieve annual business goals. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Chief Pilot. A "floater Captain" covers a base for 4-5 days at a time and receives orders the previous Wednesday. The floater is generally home on weekends and receives paid rental car, hotel, and generous non-taxable per diem allowance. The floater is a full time position with benefits. We try to limit the floater to thee work weeks per month cannot guarantee based on conditions outside of our control. The upside to the floater position is variety and challenge, along with a greater per diem allotment; downside is time away from home.
