Canadian Approach Question

When was the last time you went missed and entered the hold?

Most people get vectored (/clearance) during some portion on the missed.

Canadian's can shoot a mean NDB but we're not that primitive.
 
Hopefully you'd get instructions by the time you hit the NDB. If not hold on the inbound track but I'm sure at an airport like Halifax they're going to tell you what to do pretty quickly. If you lose comms depending on the reason for the missed go to the NDB then on to the alternate or try the approach again.

I'll also add if there is a chance you'll go missed ATC will ask for your intentions and give you instructions. "In the event of a missed approach cleared for another approach, or cleared to the XX airport via XX route."
