Flying inside the TFRs
Not sure why I need to know this, but it's on a gouge sheet for an interview and I can't find the answer anywhere...
It's just a non radar environment right?

Yes and when you do don't forget about compulsory reporting points. Those become mandatory when outside the range of radar....
No. Radar coverage is radar coverage and airspace is airspace. It's just a non radar environment right?
just to be nit-picky.... the class E either starts at 1200 or 700agl... not 1000.Class E starts at 1000 or 700 AGL.

since we are picking nits...it could start at the surface as well.
You still need an instrument rating to fly in conditions below VFR minimums, no matter what the airspace. This is a topic I have had trouble understanding for a while. If you can legally fly in IMC (weather below VFR weather mins for that airspace) in class G airspace without an ATC clearance, then why does class G airspace have VFR weather mins to begin with? Or am I just not understanding it correctly...?
I'm considering myself properly picked.:beer:just to be nit-picky.... the class E either starts at 1200 or 700agl... not 1000.

Just to make sure I understand:
To fly in conditions below VFR minimums in class G, only an instrument rating is needed, but not an ATC clearance because ATC does not control aircraft in class G. An ATC clearance is needed to fly in conditions below VFR minumums only when in controlled airspace. Is that correct?
