Anybody besides me find the irony in the fact that I will begining my aviation career on the very day that ended the careers for many.... September 11th?

Believe me, the irony is not lost on me. It was 9/11 that inspired me to do something I've always wanted to do - fly airplanes.

Can't tell you all how excited I am!!! I woke up quite a few times last night and thought "Oh Sh*t...this is REAL!!! I'm going to get paid to fly!!!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'll be attending the ATP five day course to get the II/MEI. I need to get this outlay of $$$ done before the baby arrives, otherwise, I'd go the "traditional" route and do it at my FBO.
