Can a college grad get a CTI degree?

Yeah, that number seems a bit off. I can tell you that right now there are more than 200 OTS at the academy.

Yes, what's the source? The Academy's gonna blow that number out of the water this year with all the OTS in class right now...

The FAA is the source. I hope you are right because that would mean that more OTS, with no prior experience will get hired quicker.

Rough numbers: 1,000 hired that went to CTI schools, 700 had previous ATC experience, 200 hired from OTS with no experience

Do you know what the title is?

I don't remember the title, but I will post the article if I run across it again so you and others can read it.

Here is an article though that 'talks' numbers to a point...

Another one...

I am telling you though, less than 200 people were hired from OTS with no prior ATC experience.

Oh, I'm not asking because I doubt you, I just wanted to read more from that article; it sounds interesting. Like how many total applicants there were. Also, 200 OTS without experience could be on top of 300 OTS with some sort of experience. Just wanted to read to clarify that sort of thing. :)

It was in a FAA report from this past year. Do a search for it and you will find it.

...HMMMM, just "Do a search for it and you will find it".....

That sounds oddly familiar like one of my postings, but instead some people get all "cranky" at a comment like that. Wierd....

I think it was the "nail" part that set them off.
