Can a CFI-A give training for Sport Pilot in LSA?

Have looked for a clearly spelled out answer to this question, but cant seem to find one.

Can a current CFI-A give training for Sport Pilot in LSA? Is there any special training requirement that needs to be met in order to do so?

Yes, if the LSA is an Airplane category. Some of those LSA's are some other kind of category, such as powered parachutes or something, which would require the CFI-A to have some kind of training/endorsement in that category, but if you're talking a small airplane LSA, then yes, he can.
