Anyone here have experience camping at Fond du Lac during AirVenture? What did you think of it?
I was thinking of staying there this year because I'm only planning on being in town from Wednesday night until Friday afternoon. I thought I might be able to save some money on camping fees, plus be able to get in and out easier since they don't close down during the air show every afternoon.
Are there any web sites that detail the services available at Fond du Lac? I haven't been able to find any official info. Is it a pain to use the shuttle to get to and from AirVenture? How often/early/late does the shuttle run? How nice is the camping area compared to Oshkosh? Will it be any cheaper?
