Hello People, I'm looking forward to apply for my complete flight training at CAEOAA Phoenix. I'll be studying as an International Student (If I get into...) and so i wanted to have the views of anyone whose been there or has an idea about the place and if you prefer any other school for training. :)

I'm a student at CAE Phoenix. Send me a message and ask away

Are there other schools that you are interested in Phoenix, or even outside the state of Arizona? The US has plenty of Int'l student programs including CAE. Some like CAE are much bigger and connected with Int'l airlines and others not so, but are great getting you employed as a CFI to build hours and experiences, or even add other ratings for free (with 6months to 1yr contract, or more).

More ideas of your prospective schools might help folks who attend compare.

I would be more than happy if you could cite some colleges(anywhere in US) and give your suggestions abouts them, as I still have plenty of time to do my homework. So any help would be appreciated

Below are some i'm familiar with... You can use the search function here to read what others think. But I recommend you call the schools.

US Aviation Academy
Transpac Aviation Academy
Flight Safety International
AeroSim
Aviator College
CAE (which you know)
WestWind Academy
SAA http://www.saaintl.com
Treasure Coast Flight Training (online search)

These are just a few. Do an online search or use JC search function and you'll find plenty. Theres one in DC Maryland area as well. I can't remember the name. Also one in New Orleans area of Louisiana http://www.bestaviation.net/school/flight_academy_of_new_orleans/ .

Florida, Arizona, California, and Texas, New York has some or the larger Flight schools that train International and domestic students. Flordia is like the capital of flight training in the U.S. there are many flightschools in that state.

I know in New York City area there is an Academy of Aviation @KFRG they have int'l students program. M-1 visa assistance I think.

Look online or call these places. Its not easy. But research and ask specific questions, and you'll get answers. Again do some online research, both online forums, and read flight school websites. Plenty of information here on JC.com to help you make an educated decision beyond a glamours website with shinny jets. Ignore the marketing color & glamour plus the "DO YOU DREAM TO FLY" in big bold letters. Ignore the JET, cool pilot glasses and "I'm an awesome pilot in uniform" videos.

Here use this think also in your search

Not all, but some do help with M-1 Visa

Navi,
Being an international student, you might want to weigh your choices of schools carefully. There have been cases where schools take the money and declare bankruptcy without giving a hint to students. I agree with scorpiostinger. Do not fall for shiny websites. Do not go for aviation degrees as they are unreasonably expensive!
I was an international student and had to change 3 flight schools myself but now I know the Bay Area in and out in California.

If you want, I can help you with picking the flight school here.I will help you monitor your training progress with flight school too.
