For those who are unaware that is my native land. Growing up in the country, every kid who dreamed about becoming a pilot dreamed about becoming a pilot for this airline. To qualify to apply for a cadet pilot, the minimum requirements are training up to the instrument/commercial level. I thought if I did this, I could save a whole bunch of $ and then come back and apply for a major here. I am glad I did some research. In a forum, after I saw words that were said by current Sri Lankan pilots such as discrimination, politics, low pay, fatigue, I just changed my mind. Nevermind. Now I understand why flying a nice plane isn't all about it. (I hope this post belongs here hehe).
