C207 crash Juneau

You weren't meant to be the target of my particular spear. I just find the fact that it's an "argument" EXTREMELY unseemly, given the circumstances.

It's all premature, I agree. And there's going to obviously be some emotion involved. And as you know, none of that helps with finding out what occurred here. The wait sucks, but it's the only reasonable way to get good, solid, accurate information disseminated. Hopefully we can all be patient enough to allow the process to do its job.

I totally understand that you were responding to unwarranted speculation in a rational way. I just think maybe it's better to not respond at all. No hate here, though, I get it. In any case, thoughts and atheist not-a-prayers for those most immediately affected.

That's the 2nd airplane in two weeks in my logbook that's crashed.

I'm happy for the Pax but sad for the Wings group.

The weather was garbage. Rescuers reported 400' ceilings invof the accident site (located at 1300' elevation by the way). You do the math on that. Looks exactly like the CFIT we had in the same spot 3 years ago, even some similarities in the PICs' career paths.

Yeah, if this wasn't CFIT I'll be really surprised.

Present. Thanks for checking up, guys.

Glad to hear you are safe and sound, bro. I'm sure this is disconcerting to you guys up in SE. Blink, get back on the horse and stay safe.
Sorry to hear about the pilot.

Couple things.
First, interesting that anyone survived, sleds aren't exactly very crashworthy.
Second, major kudos to the USCG and the Mountain Rescue team. I know that area and I wouldn't want to hike it under good conditions, much less snotty rain and mist while carrying out injured people.

Also to Seaplanes, Fjord and especially Coastal for helping with the search.
